The apartment has been decorated by the owner who is an artist, giving it a very authentic touch. Beautiful wood ceiling beams add to its charm.
One bedroom is street facing, all other rooms of this flat are court facing and hence quiet.
It is located on Rue du Faubourg Saint Antoine, at the corner (or almost) with Rue Ledru Rollin. There is a variety of bars and cafés on this lively street. You will also find a bakery on your doorstep as well as a large supermarket – Monoprix, on the other side of the road.
The nearest metro stop, « Ledru Rollin », is less than 50 metres away and Bastille metro station is 5 minutes' walk away and connects you to several other lines, providing easy access to all of Paris. If you arrive by car, you can use the ring road exit Porte de Vincennes and we can advise on a suitable car park close to the flat.

Spacious apartment with a character, decorated with taste and originality. Great location: boulangerie next door; close to shops, restaurants and Gare de Lyon is 10min to walk. This flat is an extraordinary find in Paris. It is spacious, well appointed and laid out, cozy, artistic, and an overall great place to call "home" after a long day of touring. It offers all conveniences (kitchen appliances, towels, microwave, gas stove, tv, EXCELLENT wifi, etc. It is ideally located steps from the dynamic Place de la Bastille and the funky Viaduc des Arts. A huge bonus is the metro stop Ledru Rollin is located just outside the front door (excellent metro line that will take you to the Garnier Opera, Place de la Concorde, etc), and there is a lovely patisserie next door and a decent brasserie across from the McDonalds. All this to say the flat is brilliantly located. We are Airbnb superhosts in Manhattan, so we know what makes a terrific Airbnb experience. We cannot recommend strongly enough this wonderful flat. Perhaps most important is the excellent communication and care offered by Irene and Erik. From our first point of contact they demonstrated a sincere interest in our visit and they provided flawless service. Erik was at the flat to greet us right on time, and he provided us with a comprehensive orientation of the apartment and neighborhood. This was a 5 Star experience!

The apartment’s location is excellent, very close to Bastille and with lot of food's shops all around. It's a very nice area with life all the time, but the apartment is very quiet. The apartment is very spacious and tastefully decorated excatly like the pics. Erik was a great guest, very reactive in all communication and on time for the check in and check out. I highly recommend this apartment!

My family and I have spent eight nights in the house and we really enjoyed our stay here.
Firstly, Erik and his colleague Alexander are very nice and helpful people, really patient to answer so many questions and had recommanded the restaurant nearby.
Secondly, the flat location is quite good, several minutes away from Bastille square and near metro 1,5,8 almost all the places of interest are covered with the metro-lines, and a big market is just opposite to the metro line 8 entrance, which is just 3 minutes away.Thirdly, it seems the host of the house works for arts and has a taste of decoration and design, lots of books but clean and organized, which I like most for the flat would be two bathrooms, and a seperate toilet, which is so nice for the family to use, and it is spacious, you would be quite comfortable to stay even whole day. Everything is perfect.
And it is really a pity I have not taste the dessert in the downstair shop but coffeeshop of the oppsite street is gorgeous! We really appreciate your kindness and help~

I rented the apartment called “Very large modern artist flat for 6 » located rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine for a film shooting with my university. I am delighted, this rental worked out really well! The apartment’s location is excellent: close to Bastille, Nation and the Marais ... the area is busy but the apartment is not noisy, on the contrary, it is a little heaven!
The 11th district of Paris is one with tons of small restaurants, bars and shops of all kinds. You will not run out of food over there -)
You can get to the flat very easily using the amazing transportation network (Metro Lines 1, 5, 6.8), buses, etc. The stop “Ledru Rollin” in on your doorstep, right by the gym and Mc Donalds.
The apartment itself is very spacious and tastefully decorated: Impeccable hardwood (and tiled) floors and exposed beams give it an irresistible charm. It is also fully equipped with functional and high quality furniture. The beautiful open kitchen is a gem and we liked being able to have a fast Internet connection as well as international TV channels.
I highly recommend this apartment and the host Lokappart with whom I have already booked several other apartments in the recent past. You will not be disappointed: the team is friendly, responsive and accommodating. Thank you.
A few basic very common-sense rules will apply for your booking. Please read them. Booking a property means you accept ALL of them.
On arrival we will ask for the guest’s ID, check it and take a photo (Valid ID’s are: passport, national identity card or driving license).
Check in and Check out
Standard Check-in is between 2pm and 8pm, Standard Check-out is before noon, all by appointment.
We can set a mutually convenient time after the booking is confirmed. If there is no previous or following tenant you may arrive earlier than 2pm or later than 8pm, or stay later than noon respectively. This needs to be validated on a case by case basis a couple of days prior to you arriving in Paris and is subjected to a 50 EUR supplement.
Early Check-in: Between 10am and 2pm
Late Check-in: Between 8pm and 10pm
Late Check-out: Between noon and 6pm.
For early/late check-in/out, there is a 50 EUR cash fee due on arrival.
The guest will be held responsible for any damage caused to the apartment either by themselves, their group or any other person they let into the apartment during the period of the rental.
Apartments in Paris are often located in old buildings where noise insulation is quite poor. Please respect the neighbors by avoiding being too loud (music, high heeled shoes, loud arguing, banging doors). If Lokappart was to be called by neighbors or others because of the guests noise levels between the hours of 11pm and 7am the entire security deposit will be withheld automatically.
Unsurprisingly: No parties are allowed.
Smoking in the apartment
We have a strict no-smoking policy for all our apartments. Smoking in the apartment (even with open windows) thus violates our rules. The full security deposit will be withheld automatically and used to wash curtains, sofa covers etc.
While basic cleaning is provided (and paid for) after your stay, the guest will still need to wash dishes and take waste outside of the flat before check-out. Any abnormal dirt (used pans, pots, severe stains on the floor, walls etc) will require extra hours of cleaning on our behalf and give rise to partial or full use of the security deposit.
If sheets, towels, pillows, duvets or other linen are stained the guest must inform Lokappart and Lokappart will withhold parts or all of the deposit to get the concerned elements cleaned by professional.
The apartment is rented ONLY to the person who booked or his/her group. The guest is not allowed to have visitors over (except for the occasional lunch/coffee etc). The total number of people in the apartment must not exceed the total number of people the apartment is advertised for at any given time. The guest is fully responsible for any person he/she lets into the apartment during the rental.
Unsurprisingly: No parties are allowed.
Mail and parcels
The guest will not be able to receive mail or parcel deliveries at the apartment, nor will the guest have access to the mailbox. The guest may consult Lokappart to find an alternative arrangement.
