Welcome to our spacious, 90 square metre apartment in the hip 10th arrondissement of Paris!
Please note that the paint on kitchen ceiling is damaged due to a (fixed) water leak in the apartment above. This optical nuisance when you raise your head is reflected in the lower than usual price.
This apartment is composed of 2 separate bedrooms, 1 sitting/dining room, 1 separate kitchen, 1 separate WC and 1 separate bathroom (with bath).
It can sleep up to 4 guests in two double beds.
It is situated on the fourth floor (with elevator), facing East, South and West, allowing for plenty of sunlight. The apartment style is largely inspired by the owner’s time spent in the Himalayas and there is high quality furniture with wardrobes and tables made from precious, exotic wood.
The apartment has a TV with international channels and of course wifi!
It’s in a vibrant neighbourhood with typical Parisian cafés just a few footsteps away (including the popular “Chez Jeannette”), Indian Restaurants, fruit stalls, bakeries and several supermarkets for your convenience!
The central location is perfect for getting to all the attractions of Paris with three metro stations within five minutes walk. The train stations Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est are also accessible by foot (about 15 minutes walk).

In the 10th district, this apartment is located a few steps from the Grands Boulevards, best known for live performance, numbers of bars and restaurants. In this area you will find the Rex, the Grevin Museum, the Splendid, the Theatre du Gymnase etc. Worship places in the capital!
The flat is close to shops and accessible by Metro lines 4, 8 and 9.
The Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est (Thalys, Eurostar) are only 1 and 2 underground stops from the apartment. Very handy if coming from both airports of Paris too.

It was great having a lift/elevator for the upstairs apartment. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was spacious. We liked the location and found everything about this apartment easy to access.

This apartment was perfect for our time in Paris! The location is great - it is in an neighborhood and offers authentic Parisian vibes without tons of tourists. There are markets, restaurants, bars, a pharmacy, all below the apartment so there is always something to do without having to go far. If you do want to see the touristy stuff, the metro stop is also just a quick walk away. In the apartment, there are so many windows which was a great way for air to circulate and the views of the street were also incredible. Having a living room was ideal for our trip because we stayed in one night with a bottle of wine and, unlike in a hotel room, we were able to lounge comfortably - great when traveling with more than your partner. The response time and helpfulness from the host was spectacular and was quicker than most airbnbs that we have rented. After an overnight flight, it was nice to have transportation arranged for us. Overall, I highly recommend this apartment mostly because of location, the host, and the local vibe you get.

The apartment was wonderful, we felt immediately at home after a warm and friendly welcome from Eric. It was 15 minutes walk from Gare du Nord so couldn't have been more convenient. The decor was interesting with a real flavour of Bhutan (where the owner has strong connections), we liked it very much. The apartment is on the 4th floor so well away from the noise and bustle of the lively streets below. Plenty of bars and restaurants close by, particularly Chez Jeanette in the same block. Also strongly recommended is Julien, a wonderful fin-de-siecle restaurant with stunning interiors. For breakfast there are bakeries and supermarkets all close by. Metro links to all parts of Paris are extremely accessible, with the nearest metro minutes away. This apartment is highly recommended

Nice apartment in a vibrant and interesting part of town. All amenities close by and the apartment is very well situated in terms of public transport. That being said it is very easy to get around on foot - you can reach most destinations (shoppping, museums etc) by a 20-40 minute walk.

Highly recommend! Spacious and clean apartment in an amazing location, close to metro and in walking distance of most of the sites of Paris. The neighborhood is very cool and authentic. There are plenty of coffee shops, bars, restaurants and grocery stores, so it’s very easy to stay local and have a good time. Apartment was roomy, comfortable and clean and perfect for 2 friends or 2 couples. Would totally visit again! Niraj from Lokkapart was incredibly helpful and hospitable and made our stay as easy and as comfortable as can be!

A lovely apartment in a very lively part of Paris with a great central location so you can get to anywhere on the Metro in 30 minutes or less. This was important to me as I was working at two locations each at the end of a different Metro line and the location of the apartment took a lot of stress out of the commuting. The same applies to sightseeing. The Eifle Tower, The Monet Museum, Montarnpasse for Hemingway, and Montmartre are all within 30 minutes on the Metro. The Pompidou Centre, Left Bank, Ile de Cite, Louvre, and Galeries Lafayette are all within a 30-40 minute walk. The area has lots of nightlife, and people party late. If you are looking for sedate this is not for you. The flat has double glazing so you will not be kept up by revellers. The street below the apartment has bars and restaurants for all prices and tastes. The shopping for everyday food and necessities is great and includes high quality boulangeries, fromargeries and epecieries, as well as fantastic fresh fruit stores. There are two Monoprix within a few hundred metres as well small retailers. The flat is nicely appointed, very bright, and decorated in a Central Asian motif that reflects the owner's life and work. It is very different to the staid conformity of a serviced apartment and it has great charm. Obviously it is somebody else's home, not an antiseptic hotel room, but it is very different to my, and probably your, home which makes it interesting and it manages to be both slightly exotic and comfortable at the same time. I stayed in December so the good central heating and instant hot water were very much appreciated. The wifi is not ultra-fast but it is adequate and reliable, whilst the TV has all the international news channels. The kitchen is small but serviceable with hobs, a toaster-oven and microwave. More than adequate for self-catering and preparing small meals. The place has one bathroom and one separate toilet so if there were five of you staying there you would have to get organized in the mornings! Access is via the world's smallest lift, something else to bear in mind if you have lots of small kids in tow. The service from the manager Eric and his assistant Najir was impeccable. Very quick and comprehensive email contact on booking. Seamless checking in and checking out. And Eric was always available to personally and promptly help with any little problems. Overall a great stay of a month, and very good value. Many thanks to Eric for making this possible.

Our staying in the apartment has been very comfortable. The communication and availability of the host was perfect and the location is great for doing shopping, eating around, have a drink etc. etc. The metro station is very handy even though I could basically walk to go everywhere and wanted to. The apartment is in a great, very hip location close to three mayor metro stations. Check-in is easy and convenient. The description and images are on point. We arrived in fall and heating and warm water worked perfectly. Communication was easy and fast. Very good value and if available I would check in without hesitation.

The apartment we rented is spacious and is uniquely decorated, with a beautiful Parisian-Tibet mixture of books, art and Parisian wooden floor. its very homey: the living room is large, The master bedroom has a large bed and is comfortable. The apartment is located in an amazing neighborhood. the location is absolutely superb. The host was accommodating and did his best to reply to all our needs. Most importantly, GREAT LOCATION, in the middle of a lively area, near public transportation, shops, etc.

We had a most pleasant stay at Lokappart.. The appartment was big enough for 2 adults and 3 kids. We enjoyed the location and Alex made us feel very welcome and he was super flexible both at checking in and out. The area has fabulous shopping and is a good starting point for a lot of seights.

Spaces were nice, small kitchen worked fine and was pretty well equipped. Nice building and stairway, nice neighbourhood. Info provided up front was fine as well as additional info we requested.
Lovely appartment and very nice neighbourhood, service could be a little better and the appartment had some technical issues. Would go back next time but make better appointments.

El piso tiene mucha luz durante todo el día lo que lo hace especialmente agradable. La parada de metro te conecta con tres línea distintas simplificando los traslados. Las habitaciones son amplias y agradables. Lo único mejorable sería la falta de armario en una de ellas para dejar la ropa, pero para pasar unos días no fue un gran problema. Asimismo, las ventanas no tienen persiana por lo que siempre hay luz o de una farola o la del sol al amanecer. Esto puede ser un problema para algunas personas, pero también le da claridad al piso.
Por otra parte, la atención por parte de Lokappart fue excelente, nos estaba esperando en el piso para cuando llegamos y nos dio todo tipo de explicaciones. En definitiva una gran elección para pasar unos días en París.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cet appartement. Il y a eu un petit problème de chaudière qui a été résolu dans les plus brefs délais. L'équipe Lokappart a été très réactif et disponible. Le quartier est animé le soir mais l’insonorisation est bonne. Nous sommes ravis !

Erik was very punctual, polite, and helpful host. Erik was waiting for us at the entrance and the communication with him was very easy. The apartment was in a great location, close to the metro stations, which was very convenient for our transportations. It was nice and cosy, there were three rooms, two with double beds and the other large room with a sofa. There was also a fully functional kitchen, a small W.C. and a large bathroom. There were a lot of towels. Overall, the apartment is perfectly located for someone who wants to explore the city, and the price is perfect compared to central hotels.

There were 3 of us on a 4 night trip to Paris. we each had a bed in different rooms, the apartment was clean, had a nice wooden floor, excellent views of rue de Saint Denis, and lots of interesting books, images and artefacts on the Kingdom of Bhutan. This location is absolutely brilliant, and ideal for a longer stay. Close to the major train stations and metro but with everything you could possibly need right on the doorstep. Fruit shops, mini-marts, restaurants, cinemas, bars, cafes and hair extension salons abound. There's a late-night laundry across the road and a bank around the corner. The apartment is huge by Paris standards, secure, and has a very comfortable, lived-in ambience. The whole family loved it so much we hardly noticed the absence of a standard oven or worried about the ever-present street noise 4 floors below. Lokappart staff is a very attentive, thoughtful host and a great communicator, we felt very much at home.
A few basic very common-sense rules will apply for your booking. Please read them. Booking a property means you accept ALL of them.
On arrival we will ask for the guest’s ID, check it and take a photo (Valid ID’s are: passport, national identity card or driving license).
Check in and Check out
Standard Check-in is between 2pm and 8pm, Standard Check-out is before noon, all by appointment.
We can set a mutually convenient time after the booking is confirmed. If there is no previous or following tenant you may arrive earlier than 2pm or later than 8pm, or stay later than noon respectively. This needs to be validated on a case by case basis a couple of days prior to you arriving in Paris and is subjected to a 50 EUR supplement.
Early Check-in: Between 10am and 2pm
Late Check-in: Between 8pm and 10pm
Late Check-out: Between noon and 6pm.
For early/late check-in/out, there is a 50 EUR cash fee due on arrival.
The guest will be held responsible for any damage caused to the apartment either by themselves, their group or any other person they let into the apartment during the period of the rental.
Apartments in Paris are often located in old buildings where noise insulation is quite poor. Please respect the neighbors by avoiding being too loud (music, high heeled shoes, loud arguing, banging doors). If Lokappart was to be called by neighbors or others because of the guests noise levels between the hours of 11pm and 7am the entire security deposit will be withheld automatically.
Unsurprisingly: No parties are allowed.
Smoking in the apartment
We have a strict no-smoking policy for all our apartments. Smoking in the apartment (even with open windows) thus violates our rules. The full security deposit will be withheld automatically and used to wash curtains, sofa covers etc.
While basic cleaning is provided (and paid for) after your stay, the guest will still need to wash dishes and take waste outside of the flat before check-out. Any abnormal dirt (used pans, pots, severe stains on the floor, walls etc) will require extra hours of cleaning on our behalf and give rise to partial or full use of the security deposit.
If sheets, towels, pillows, duvets or other linen are stained the guest must inform Lokappart and Lokappart will withhold parts or all of the deposit to get the concerned elements cleaned by professional.
The apartment is rented ONLY to the person who booked or his/her group. The guest is not allowed to have visitors over (except for the occasional lunch/coffee etc). The total number of people in the apartment must not exceed the total number of people the apartment is advertised for at any given time. The guest is fully responsible for any person he/she lets into the apartment during the rental.
Unsurprisingly: No parties are allowed.
Mail and parcels
The guest will not be able to receive mail or parcel deliveries at the apartment, nor will the guest have access to the mailbox. The guest may consult Lokappart to find an alternative arrangement.
